Adult day servicesfor frail and cognitively impaired seniors, to help individuals remain active and involved and provide support and respite for their caregivers.

Services for the homebound that help frail seniors and physically disabled adults to maintain control of their lives even as their physical capacity diminishes.

A caregivers program helps families and friends of physically frail or cognitively impaired seniors.

A Food Card (formerly Food Stamp) outreach program identifies community residents who are eligible for this benefit and helps them obtain it.

Services for immigrants help newcomers acclimate to and become full participants in American life.

Beacon Community Center in Elmhurst offers educational, recreational, and cultural programs for children, teenagers, and adults.

Services for children and teenagers help participants from 5 to 21 years of age develop into healthy, self-reliant, community-minded adults.

Intergenerational Programs build mutually supportive relationships among the elderly, teenagers, and children.

A volunteer program allows community residents to "give back" to their neighbors and extend SCS's capacity to provide services.
