In this class you will be introduced to value or tone to add the illusion of form to your drawing. You will learn about the value scale and how to work with your medium (charcoal, pencil) to add value to your work through blending.

"Pops is Tops" is an award-winning educational film that celebrates the life and legacy of one of the great icons of the 20th century, Louis Armstrong. This film will be presented by Jake Blasini, its director and a jazz educator. Jake will answer questions about the process and topics covered in an intimate talk-back session.
