    Looking for a fun way to exercise. Join us for Gyrokinesis which combines the benefits and qualities of Yoga, Tai Chi, swimming and dance, and are great for alleviating pain, stiffness and fatigue. Gyrokinesis works the entire body, strengthening and stretching through rhythmic, flowing and circular movements. Music adds to the fun. Most of the session will be seated. Use a kitchen or dining chair, preferably without arms. We’ll do some standing exercises at the end. Wear comfortable, workout clothes, bare feet or socks.

    Our Swing Dance class is aerobic exercise that requires constant movement which helps your heart and improve your balance. Tai Chi is a gentle physical exercise that involves a series of slow, focused, constant motion, accompanied by deep breathing and meditation. Swing Tai is a combination of both swing dance and Tai Chi, involving constant movement with music and a meditative component. Join Marta Lopez while she leads you on this journey.

You will feel a quiet in your mind and body. These simple techniques can be used at any time to find peace and relaxation. No experience in either chair yoga or meditation is necessary! All you need is a chair, best without arms if possible, and some space to move your arms and legs.

    During our Art as a Contemplative Practice by Reuben Lorch-Miller, we will combine short-guided meditations and art exercises to explore ways of establishing authentic connections to our creative selves. There will also be time for sharing, reflections, and discussions. We will also investigate how our minds operate, potential creative blocks and art as a technique for stress reduction. This approach to learning is based on open inquiry, playfulness and discovery. All that is required is some simple art materials and an open mind. No experience with art making or meditation is required.
