Sunnyside Community Services’ Beacon P. S. 343 is seeking a Junior Group Leader. The Junior Group Leader will assist Group Leaders and Instructors in the classroom, three days a week, while learning what it means to be a youth worker. Junior Group Leaders will report to the Leadership Team, comprised of the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and Program Coordinator.
P. S. 343 is a core program within our After-School Service continuum that provides supportive services to individuals from kindergarten to adulthood throughout the Sunnyside community. Responsibilities
Requirements
This position begins ASAP. After-school staff are expected to be committed to the position until the end of the school year in June.
Physical Requirements
This role will require bending, sitting, stooping, and standing.
Working Conditions
The work of this role will take place in-person, three days a week for three hours a day.
Compensation: Starting at $15.00/hr.
Hours: 2 – 5 pm, Monday through Friday (three days a week)
Location: Positions Available in Sunnyside PS 343.
