Classical composer Yui Kitamura and jazz composer Mark Wade will present a set of dynamic original music on Saturday, September 30th at Sunnyside Community Services. Violinist Kae Nakano, Percussionist Maiko Hosoda, with Soprano Rina Maejima will perform music of Yui Kitamura exploring the composer’s “Flower Collection” music as well as “A King and a Shoemaker,” a piece based on a Japanese children story. Pianist Tim Harrison, bassist Mark Wade, and drummer Scott Neumann will perform some of Wade’s compositions that have earned Wade the reputation of “one of the preeminent musicians of his generation.” (UK Vibe)
