New York City Mayor Eric Adams, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, and NYCHA Chair & CEO Greg Russ visited our Cornerstone Community Center at Woodside Houses on August 2 to celebrate a $70 million investment in the development and production of 30,000 new heat pump units. The heat pumps will be used in New York City Public Housing facilities including Woodside Houses, and would allow residents to control the temperatures in their own apartments, while making the buildings more energy efficient.
