Queens Ledger: SCS Wins National Caregiving Award

The Queens Ledger talks to Shyvonne Noboa, division director for senior services at SCS, and Edward Rosado, SCS caregiver support specialist, about SCS’s Care NYC program for caregivers and being awarded the Innovations in Alzheimer’s Caregiving Award.

They also spoke with Anna Romero who cares for her 71-year-old husband who has dementia. In the Queens Ledger article, Anna talks about her experience with SCS: “Their expertise and support system is incredible, because there’s so much knowledge and experience with the roundtable talks and the sense of community they provide … SCS’ care is more individualized, more heartfelt than other places I’ve dealt with.”
