Who Can Participate in This Program?
High school students and recent graduates in Queens, NY are eligible to participate in our College Readiness Program.
When Are the Workshops?
Workshops are held after school in the late afternoon and early evening during the school year and in the summer. Individual advisement sessions can be scheduled during the school year. Some instruction, such as test preparation workshops, includes multiple sessions held over a period of 6 – 8 weeks. Contact us for specific dates.
Where Are Workshops Held?
Our College Readiness Program currently operates in three locations in New York City: Queens Technical High School in Long Island City, Queens (open to Queens Technical High School students and recent graduates only); the SCS Beacon Program at P.S. 343 in Sunnyside, Queens; and HANAC Beacon Program at P.S. 19 in Corona, Queens.
We strongly recommend reaching out to us at the beginning of the school semester or summer so that you can take advantage of all that our College Readiness Program offers. All workshops have limited capacity and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us today!
