Career Readiness (Youth Futures) Program

Career students dressed in suits and business attire for a session in a corporate environment

If you are a Queens Technical High School student interested in learning how to find a job and plan for a career, the Career Readiness/Youth Futures Program can help you build the skills you need. The program combines internship experiences with career readiness education. Program staff offer guidance on developing resumes and honing interview skills and guest speakers provide expertise in financial literacy. The program includes opportunities to learn about options for post-secondary education and to analyze how each will impact your future choices.

Sunnyside Community Services' Career Readiness Program is supported by Con Edison, the Price Family Foundation, the New York City Center for Economic Opportunity’s Work Progress Program, and the New York State Education Department.
