The College Readiness Program combines internship experiences with career readiness education. Program staff assist student interns in developing and refining their interpersonal and professional skills through workshops, training, guest speakers, and internships. Program staff also assist with resumes, mock interviews, and post-secondary education opportunities.
Queens Connect trains and prepares out of school youth for successful careers in the foodservice and manufacturing sector. Queens Connect is an employment collaborative between Queens Community House, Jacob Riis Neighborhood Settlement, Sunnyside Community Services, and Ocean Bay CDC. Click here for more information.
